Cary Grant

Cary Grant (January 18, 1904 - November 29, 1986), born as Archibald Alexander Leach[4] in Bristol, United Kingdom, was an English-American actor.

He was known for his Mid-Atlantic accent, debonair demeanor, light-hearted approach to acting, and sense of comic timing. He was one of classic Hollywood's definitive leading men from the 1930s until the mid-1960s. [5] He starred in many movies, including 1959's North by Northwest.[6]

Grant became an American citizen in 1942.[7] At that time, he legally changed his name to "Cary Grant."[7] He died of a stroke on November 29, 1986.

His body was cremated.[1]
